How much time should I plan for my hospital session?
Sessions generally run 15–20 minutes.
When should I expect my session?
We arrive at the hospital and begin conducting sessions at 9:00 a.m. Your session time will depend on the number of babies in the hospital that day.
What can I do to prepare for my baby's session?
Keeping your hospital room warm will make your baby more comfortable during the session. Feeding your baby beforehand is also very helpful.
What should my baby wear?
We provide beautiful wraps, hats, and headbands for your session — no need to bring anything special!
What if my baby won't open his or her eyes?
Newborns sleep a lot, and we fully expect that! In fact, sleeping babies make some of the most beautiful portraits.
What if my baby cries during the session?
We typically capture some pretty adorable shots between cries — and we have a few tricks up our sleeves if needed!
What kind of props will you bring?
We bring beautiful wraps, knit hats, and headbands. We also encourage you to bring anything from home that would make your pictures more meaningful to you.
When will I be able to see my baby's portraits?
Your images will be available to view online 5–7 days after your session.
How do I make sure my baby is photographed?
We'll stop by your room when we make our rounds to offer you a session. You're also welcome to text us ahead of time at (208) 406-7577.
What products do you offer?
Our products range from a single portrait sheet to a full gallery download you can print on your own. There's something for every budget!
How long does it take to receive our portraits?
Gallery downloads are available within 24 hours of purchase. Prints typically arrive within 1–2 weeks, as we use a professional photography lab out of state.
What are your hospital hours?
We don't keep regular office hours at the hospital, but we generally arrive at 9:00 a.m. If you can't reach us by phone, feel free to leave a voicemail or send a text and we'll get back to you as soon as possible at (208) 406-7577.
Is there a charge for the photo session?
There is no charge for us to come to the hospital and conduct your baby's custom session. You only pay for the portraits or products you choose to order.
Do you offer sessions outside of the hospital?
We specialize in hospital newborn sessions, but we're happy to refer you to a wonderful local photographer for other needs!
